Time to believe in you


No matter what age you are, now is the most important time to believe in yourself.

If you believe in yourself, the right doors will open for you. Opportunities will come knocking at your door. But you have to believe in yourself. 

It’s very easy to be confident doing something you are good at. Now try something new for the first time, that confidence dwindles very quickly. Why? Because you don’t know where to start or how to deliver the outcome because you have never been shown and it’s something you have never done before. 

Relax. You will learn how to do it if you really want it. And then it just takes practice. Sometimes every year of doing something on a regular basis you will see improvement. That’s why people have New Year Resolutions because in a year if you focus and stay on track with your goal and the most important part, you do it often then you will improve. There is no doubt. You can only get better.

Some people work on their craft for ten years before it becomes natural and easy for them as well as they start to make their ideas. And others even become teachers to show people how to start, just like how you started.

It’s all about consistency. If you are consistent in improving and continually learning the topic of interest, you can only succeed. If you believe in yourself then you have won half the battle. The other half is actually doing it. 

So forget about the non-support you were wanting from others and just believe in you. You have got this. You can literally do anything you just need confidence to begin.

Have you ever thought about something and you really wanted to do try it but then for whatever reason you backed out? It’s not a nice feeling. You had all this courage and excitement to give it a go but then something happened and you took a step back.

Take the leap and trust yourself that you will give yourself the best chance possible.

Be in the moment

Is it soft and smooth or has intricate details or maybe it is heavy and hard?  Think about the size. Does it have its own unique size or is it large, medium or small? What is the shape look like?  Does the object have a scent? For example, maybe a purple object has a lavender scent or maybe a wooden object has a wood scent. Does it smell nice?  Why do you like this object that you are holding? Does it make you smile? Maybe it brings you comfort? Now during your hard times think about this object. Think about how it feels and smells but most important think about how this object makes you feel.  #objects #sensory
